I made a damn website!

Kara Bultman

I am not techy. I'm more of an ideas kind of girl. But I needed a website and with a lil help from my good friend Claude, it walked me through it step by step. Is it perfect? No. But it's mine. I did that. I did the thing I've been avoiding for forever. I had the domain name since last year. I had the generic Shopify page. I knew there had to be a way a normal person could build something useful. Claude helped. But it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be! I have a serious case of demand avoidance. But I finally sat down to do it and it took me less than two hours. I'm embarrassed I didn't do it sooner frankly.  So if you like me are trying to start a lil business or a website, use the tools available! I knew AI was great, and there are positives and negatives associated with it, but it helped build this lil piece of the internet that's all mine. If I can do it, you can do it.  Go do the thing that scares you a little. It's worth it!!!

If you've read this far, welcome to hobby hoe club. Let the shenanigans begin!!!!

I’m so excited that I found your videos and now the website. I have been a hobby hoe since my grandma encouraged my creative side to come out when I was a little girl. I will attempt almost any craft or hobby (at least once). Right now I’m really into papercrafting and I really want to start an Etsy shop for my handmade journals but the fear of failure is holding me back. Maybe being a member of hobby hoe club will give me the courage to try. I absolutely love making items that other people like. I sell at craft fairs and do fairly well but I’m like you….the internet scares me! I can’t wait to see where hobby hoe club goes and I’m proud to say: “I’m definitely a hobby hoe!”
